andrea corr has become a song writer at the top of her game. clearly there are many corrs fans out there who want a new record. this solo effort, while not containing quite the punch of the whole band, puts andrea's lovely angelic voice and her skill as a writer on display. there is an evident simplicity to these songs, which makes them so accessible, you find yourself humming many of the tunes right away.
i think the whole band of the corrs would have given a few of the tracks a more interesting texture to those of us who love their music. but you gotta give andrea credit for following her muse and what a lovely, wonderful muse it is. we can only hope that this record will prompt the rest of the band to want to get back into the studio soon.
